YOU WERE NOT THERE... is an ongoing project investigating the parallell worlds and alternative realities defined by dead places. Abandoned by society and layered with a rich past, the places can be seen as disappearing echoes from a distant time. With a common thread in an intense presence of silence, the series raises open unanswered questions about the past of the places, and the events that eventually led to their downfall.
